I have used plant tone as well as well as some other espoma products (flower tone, tomato tone, etc) with good results. We really like this one for perennials For all kinds of evergreens—azaleas, rhodos, camellias, junipers, hollies, etc.

The Stank Is Real With This Stuff.

I second garden tone for general vegetable gardening. Holly tone is for plants that prefer a more acid soil. I bought enough to cover my plants for spring and fall.
